EC Bond Priority Issues

  • Current Facilities are 40 or more years old
  • Utilities are inefficient (AC/Heating/Lighting)

    • More classrooms are needed due to new state law that requires 4 math and 4 science credits for graduation
    • Most classrooms are about 650 square feet which does not meet the current recommendation of 750 square feet

    • ADA Issues: Current campus presents many issues for handicapped students,
    • Students and staff members are constantly exposed to outdoor elements during transition between buildings (heat,cold, rain, ice)
    • Safety and security concerns
